Court of Appeal to handle 50 cases in 10 days

A overall of 50 Civil Appeals are established to be handled by the Courtroom of Charm in 10 days as the struggle against situation backlog can take shape.
The appeals will be read amongst June 20th and June 30th, 2022 by Justices Elizabeth Musoke, Muzamiru Kibeedi, Christopher Gashirabake, Irene Mulyagonja and Eva Luswata.
According to the causelist issued by the Court of Attraction Registrar, HW Susan Kanyange, the conditions which are heading to be heard were being submitted between 2013 and 2022.
Some of the appeals to be handled include things like that of the administrator of the estate of Sir Edward Muteesa, the initial President of Uganda against Dr Muhammad Kasasa, who are battling more than possession of a primary land in Mutungo, Nakawa Division.
The land underneath dispute is in Kyadondo Block 237 Plots 178 and 388 at Luzira/Mutungo.
Other appeals include things like that of Nakivubo Street Previous Kampala (Kisekka) Marketplace Vendors Confined from Geoffrey Kayita and 3 other individuals in regard to Kisekka marketplace land.
Also the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Hon. Lady Justice Jane Frances Abodo is battling town law firm Alex Bashasha in a further appeal.
