Former law enforcement officer aims to prevent youth crime in Mobile

Cellular, Ala. (WALA) – The city’s new youth violence prevention coordinator on Wednesday held his first public celebration, web hosting a collecting at Unity Issue Park off of Wide Street.

The Rev. David Edwards was there, far too. His group, People United to Progress the Dream, launched an anti-violence campaign on the anniversary of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination on April 4.
