Fox has picked up Canadian authorized drama “Diggstown” from Leisure 1.

Designed by Floyd Kane, and starring Vinessa Antoine (“General Clinic,” “Being Erica”), the series from Canadian general public broadcaster CBC follows Marcie Diggs (Antoine), a star company lawyer who reconsiders her priorities and moves to do the job in a legal-assist business office following her aunt commits suicide following the pressures of a destructive prosecution. Between a new group of ragtag legal professionals, Marcie is driven by a single issue: to hardly ever all over again let harmless life to be wrecked by the justice technique.

Fox has swooped for seasons 1 and 2 of the drama. Kelly Makin (“Saving Hope”) is the pilot director and govt producer. “Diggstown” is made in association with CBC and distributed internationally by eOne.
