On Thursday, Gov. Greg Abbott will keep a roundtable discussion in Austin on general public protection and law enforcement.

The governor’s business reported Abbott will examine his legislative priorities for “ensuring a safer potential for the condition of Texas.” He’ll be joined by other Texas legislation enforcement officials. It will commence at 12:15 p.m.

Abbott is very likely to additional handle his plans this legislative session to punish Austin for its city council voting final yr to minimize $21 million from the Law enforcement Department finances. Others taking part in the roundtable are Kevin Masters of Abbott’s public basic safety office Manny Ramirez, president of the Fort Really worth Law enforcement Officers Association Alden Southmayd, Bee County sheriff Jennifer Tharp, Comal County Prison District Legal professional and Joell Sullivan-McNew, president of SafeHorns.
