Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) turned aggravated with an ABC host on Sunday over the suggestion that former President Donald Trump’s defenders are all “liars” about the final results of the 2020 election.

“This election was not stolen,” ABC host Ga Stephanopoulos started his interview with Paul by noting. “Do you accept that point?”

Paul, however, refused to answer with a straight respond to.

“The discussion around irrespective of whether or not there’s fraud ought to happen,” Paul opined. “But, indeed, had been there men and women who voted twice? Were there lifeless individuals, illegal aliens who voted? Indeed. And we ought to get to the base of it.”

“I have to end you there,” Stephanopoulos claimed. “No election is excellent. But there were 86 difficulties, they were being filed by President Trump and his allies in court. All dismissed.”

Paul tried to interrupt but the ABC host continued.

“There were counts and recounts,” Stephanopoulos continued. “The Office of Justice, led by William Barr, stated there is no widespread proof of fraud. Can not you just say the words: This election was not stolen?”

“What I would propose is if we want bigger self esteem in our elections — and 75% of Republicans concur with me — is that we do want to glance at election integrity and we do need to see if we can restore confidence in the elections,” Paul remarked.

“Well, 75% of Republicans agree with you due to the fact they had been fed a significant lie by President Trump and his supporters who say the election was stolen,” Stephanopoulos pressed. “Why just cannot you say it was a truthful election?”

“I believe you make a slip-up,” Paul interrupted. “Hey, George! Georgie, where by you make a mistake is that persons coming from the liberal aspect like you, you immediate say everything’s a lie rather of expressing there are two sides to every thing. Traditionally what would transpire is if I reported I believed there was fraud, you would introduce somebody else who reported there was not. But now you insert oneself in the center and say that the absolute fact is that all the things I’m indicating is a lie.”

“I said what the president said was he stated was a lie!” Stephanopoulos pushed again. “Hold on a next! He claimed the election was stolen. This election was not stolen. The outcomes had been accredited in each single point out just after counts and recounts!”

“You’re stating there was not fraud and it’s all been investigated,” Paul complained. “And that is just not correct.”

“That’s not what I claimed, sir,” the ABC host asserted. “I explained the Section of Justice observed no evidence.”

“You claimed it’s all a lie!” Paul shouted.

“Let me finish my issue,” Stephanopoulos implored.

“You say we are all liars!” Paul insisted. “You’re just basically declaring we’re all liars.”

“I said it was a lie that the election was stolen,” Stephanopoulos affirmed.
