Man accused of fleeing law enforcement in Crawford, Vernon counties Saturday

VIROQUA, Wis. (WEAU) – A male is cited for reckless driving, dashing and is getting proposed for expenses after a chase crossed county lines in western Wisconsin Saturday night.

The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office environment stated 50-calendar year-previous Brian Yahn of rural Boscobel was taken into custody at about 10:13 p.m. Saturday following fleeing law enforcement in the two Crawford and Vernon counties.

According to a release, Yahn was stopped on Freeway 61 in Crawford County by the Crawford County Sheriff’s Workplace. Through the end, Yahn became “agitated” and still left the scene. Crawford County deputies followed him to the Crawford-Vernon county line, where by they stopped pursuit. Deputies ultimately located Yahn in the Town of Kickapoo in Vernon County and took him into custody. Yahn was taken to the Vernon County Detention Heart on a recommended charge of fleeing or eluding an officer.

In Crawford County, the Sheriff’s Office cited Yahn for dashing much more than 45 miles per hour more than the pace restrict of 55mph, achieving speeds of at least 100mph. He also been given a independent citation for likely 35mph about the velocity restrict of 55mph. Yahn was also cited for reckless driving endangering safety, failure to preserve vehicle beneath management, functioning left of center and functioning although suspended.
