The Welsh Conservative leader will continue to keep his job inspite of staying caught consuming with colleagues on parliament premises although an alcohol ban was in force.
Paul Davies has been instructed he has the “unanimous support” of the Welsh Tory team to continue on in his role as leader.
It comes right after an investigation into allegations that Mr Davies drank liquor with chief whip Darren Millar, the party’s chief of personnel Paul Smith and former Labour Welsh federal government minister Alun Davies in a Senedd tea space concluded a “possible breach of laws occurred”.
